The 1953 Post Cereal Roy Rogers Ranch premium, shown above, was originally created by C. F. Block and Associates in Chicago, Illinois. This 1953 offer was advertised on the back of Dell Roy Rogers comic No. 67 and expired January 1954. For .50 cents and 2 Post Cereal box tops, the 23-piece ranch set could be yours.

The solid plastic 60mm figures of the Roy Rogers Double R Bar Ranch premium included Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Pat Brady, Trigger (palomino rearing horse), Buttermilk (running horse), Bullet (German Shepherd) and detachable brown rubbery saddles and bridles. Roy's ranch house, gate, ranch animals and trees were made of color lithographed cardboard that could stand when assembled. Nellybelle was made of a metal with tires that rolled. This set was created for Post Cereal by C.F. Block and Associates in Chicago, Illinois.

When the Roy Rogers Ranch premium had run its course, the plastic figures were offered to The Stuart Manufacturing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Pat Brady and Bullet figures were originally made in cream. Stuart added white, red and silver colors. Silver is now rare. Stuart horse colors were white, sorrel, black, palomino and silver. Silver and sorrel rearing horses are now harder to find. The Stuart premium figures were not marketed as Roy Rogers figures by Stuart, but as Texas TV Rancher, TV Cowboys and Home on the Range.
